In this condensed version of World Records, there are about 30 examples
of different record breaking dog feats.
Dogs have world records for their overall size, ear length or
weight. They also have records for doing
different kinds of tricks, such as balancing biscuits on their head or riding a
scooter.
This book uses photographs to
show the animals who have won the record.
There are about 3 sentences of text per page, and there are some dog
names that are hard to pronounce. The
pictures will grab the attention of readers, but the text is a bit above an
early reader and size or length is a bit abstract for younger readers. That said this is a fun read and it sparks
questions.
