playground to play with Tina, George’s friend.
The playground has modifications so kids with disabilities can play on
it and Tina and George have a great time.
George sees a group of kids playing basketball so him and Tina go over
and join their game.
Similar to all
Curious George books, the illustrations are adorable and cute little George is
learning about the world around him.
The cover is misleading because the story is not about basketball but about making adaptations for disabilities. This book introduces the concept of a modified playground, which I’m not
sure all kids will understand. However,
it is a great way to explain how fun a modified playground can be and how
everyone, regardless of disabilities can play together. If the cover wasn't so misleading I would have it be advisable.
