About a 4-6 grade reading level, this book covers a ton of information about Africa, while remaining at 40 pages and a larger than normal font size. It covers the countries, the history, the land and habitats, the animals, the economics and culture.
I am a fan. This is a concise and clear book that covers a wide breadth of information about this large and varied continent. The cover is unappealing as can be, the inside is stuffed with bright and modern photographs. I have to honest though, most teachers don’t request continent books, instead using country books for reports, but its good to have a current copy on hand.
