Sophie and Goose are best friends. When Sophie goes to school, Goose is left alone with nothing to do. Sophie is worried and decides she needs to find a friend for Goose. The zoo is the perfect place to find animal friends. But the giraffe can't fly, the crocodile wants Goose for lunch, and those pink birds do nothing but stand on one leg. Frustrated, Sophie is almost ready to give up until she finally finds the perfect friend for Goose!
We enjoyed this book. The pages are cheery and easy to read. With each turn of the page, the colored background changes to bright, happy colors of purple, green, blue, orange, and yellow. Often times, goose is hiding in the illustrations and children will have fun trying to find him. We enjoyed this book!
