Timmy isn't as big or as tough as his older brother, so, when he runs into
the school bully before class, his first thought is to run. Somehow, Timmy runs
into a new universe instead of home, and now he's expected to save this strange
world. But their bully is even bigger than the one at school and all Timmy has
is his backpack and harmonica. What good can he do?
Timmy's adventure is cute
and pretty funny. There is some great problem solving, and I love that Timmy
learns how to overcome his fear of his bullies. While Walker comes up with some
very unique names, they became distracting and annoying as I continued reading.
K'nick k'nocker is only the beginning, there are also g'nome g'nasties, k'roll
k'pollies, and even a g'slith g'slythe. Besides that detail, I enjoyed
it--especially the idea that everyone possess a magical power.
EL - OPTIONAL.
