Camp
is where Jo, Emma, Maddie, and Skylar's friendship started and continued each
summer they all returned. But now it's been a couple years since they were all
together, and this summer is their camp reunion. All four girls have grown up,
changed, and kept secrets. Is camp also where their friendship ends?
There is a
lot of skipping around between experiences the different girls had during
different summers. I thought this was going to be confusing and annoying, but
somehow LaMarche made it smooth so that I could follow the story's leaps. I
even enjoyed seeing past experiences and switching points of view so many times
because it gave me insights that made the story more enjoyable. However, there
are several scenes that made me uncomfortable because of the sexual content and
some of the drama between the girls that could have been taken out without
hurting the story.
