$16.99 PICTURE BOOK Content: G.
Henny is a chicken that is born with human arms. She likes being different and being able to
do cool things like climb trees and help the farmer around the farm, but
sometimes being different isn’t fun—like when the other farm animals laugh at
her. Henny continues to use her human
arms to try new things and learns that she can fly and the advantages are
limitless.
The book is illustrated in
soft colors and Henny’s struggle with being different feels similar to the Ugly
Duckling. Henny embraces her differences
and makes the best of an awkward situation.
I personally found the chicken with human arms creepy and hard to get
over; however, my five year old son thought it was great and wanted to look
through the book again.
