It is hard to
rule a country when the last queen also inhabits your body. Charlie would love to be rid of Sabara, but
the only way possible is to transfer Sabara’s essence to someone else – and
then kill that person. And Charlie
doesn’t know anyone she hates enough to kill like that. When the Queen of Astonia kidnaps someone
close to Charlie and starts a war instead of brokering peace, Charlie may have
found her victim.
This is an excellent
piece of science fiction with a touch of personal magic. The danger and the intrigue are just enough
without being the whole reason for the book.
