Brody is struggling to sleep in his brand new bed, in his
brand new room, in his brand new house. In search of somewhere he can actually
rest, he carries his stuffed dragon, Horst, with him out the window. Together
they try to sleep in a nest like squirrels, on a comfy cloud, and a variety of
other places, but it never quite works out. Eventually Horst leads Brody back
to his very own room where the bed now seems a pretty comfy place to
sleep--with Horst making a perfect dragon pillow.
I absolutely love this book. The illustrations are
perfection, the story is sweet and magical, and I want to read and share it
with everyone. This book evokes the same feelings as classics like "Where
the Wild Things Are" and I am crazy for it. This is definitely an
essential pick for your 2018 library.
