Matt is only in school to make money from selling drugs and
to get a high school diploma. Outside of school, Matt takes care of Uncle Jack.
With Uncle Jack dying, Matt will do anything to make sure that Jack has
everything he needs and stays comfortable, but living life that close to the
end is not easy when you’re alone.
Overall, I got some good takeaways from reading Matt’s story
about how no man is an island and the power of kindness—but none of that stops
unpleasant things from happening. Those messages, though, are hidden behind
crass language that I did not care to read. Take the lessons learned, but you
don’t have to read this book.
