The layout is slightly text-heavy, but the information
provided is objective, informative, and intriguing. The author includes primary
sources like old photographs, diagrams, and illustrations to explain various
concepts in an easy to understand format. Included are a glossary, source
notes, bibliography, sources for further information, and an index to use with
common core standards.
