Henry
is starting his senior year and the last thing he expects is to have the great
love of his life walk through the door.
Grace Town is new, she is odd, and there are definitely questions and
secrets. Henry just wants to know
everything about her. So it feels like
fate when the school newspaper advisor assigns her to co-edit the paper with
him.
I was also interested in getting to
know Grace and her past so the first couple of chapters were ok. It's a romance and pretty light on plot, but
there's angst, pining, and secrets, although not much chemistry. It feels as though the author was trying to
make it epic and amazing, trying to make the characters likeable and funny but
it just didn't deliver. Most of the time
it felt like a sitcom with constant bantering back and forth, one liners and
the number of pop cultural references was over the top. There are better romances out there and with
the language and the mature content, I can't recommend this.
HS - NOT RECOMMENDED. Reviewer: RB
