This book helps the reader to understand Rivers, Seas and Oceans in general. It then shows off all the most famous examples of these places like the Nile River, the Amazon, the Everglades and many more. Features fantastic large photographs with lots of cartoon illustrations over the top of them.

This is a wonderful book that is just what I have been asking for in Non-Fiction! Because the topic is real life science students like to see actual photographs! The Non-Fiction books with just plain illustrations are a hard sell. This book adds a creative and darling element by drawing in cute illustrations over the top of the photos. The information is interesting and students will be drawn to this book on their own. A teacher could use this book in a reading center when the class is studying habitats or as a read-aloud.
