This
book features short poems about dads. Dads that are in the military, dads that
read to you, dads that make you laugh, dads that play baseball, and many more. Illustrations
are collage style.
The
rhyming schemes in the book would be incredibly easy for student’s readers to understand
and enjoy. Every reader would find a dad
poem that reminded them of their own dad. The face less collage style
illustrations may help readers to see themselves and their fathers in the
imagery, but kind of creeped me out personally.
