Picture This: Numbers by Judith Nouvoin- ESSENTIAL

Nouvoin, Judith Picture This: Numbers. Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, 2016. $7.99. BOARD BOOK. I am sold on this board-book series!  Picture This:Numbers explores numbers 1-10 with extraordinary photographs of real animals in their habitat.  Not only are the photos exquisite, the author also gives us a small tidbit about each particular animal on each page.  The very end of the book is a photo of a flock of sheep packed together and asks, "How many sheep can you count? Look around you and discover that numbers are everywhere!" I loved this book and can't wait to get a hold of the others in the series: Colors, Homes, and Shapes.  Although it's not a unique concept, it most definitely is a unique book. Pre-K. ESSENTIAL.
