I will admit it – I am a sucker for Alison Jay’s
illustrations. They are utterly
charming, nostalgic, and full of tiny details that are so fun to lose time
with. This has the makings of a new
classic rendition of the familiar poem.
Check your shelves – if you need a new copy, this would make a great
replacement. Of course, it is a perect
addition to a family Christmas collection.
