Pom Pom Panda wakes
up on the wrong side of the bed and walks around all day harrumphing at
everyone. He offends all of his friends
and tells them to leave him alone, but then he decides he doesn’t like to be
left alone. He apologizes and his
friends let him play tag with them, but when he gets tagged he grumps
again.
The illustrations in this book
are adorable—the little panda is cute in his grumpy glory. The story line is off putting because Pom Pom
doesn’t really learn the lesson. As soon
as his friends accept his apology he is back to his grumpy ways.
