Mindwar by Andrew Klavan - ESSENTIAL

Klavan, Andrew Mindwar, 319 pgs., HarperCollins Christian Publishing, Inc., 2014, $15.99 Language: PG (2 swears, 0 "f"); Mature Content: G; Violence: PG-13,

Rick was a superstar, until the accident. Now he just sits in his room all day playing video games. That is until he meets Miss. Ferris and learns about the Mindwar. He learns of a plot that could destroy all humanity. In order to stop this force, Rick must enter the Realm, a mysterious game world, and stop the plot. Can he do it in time, or will all humanity feel the wrath of Kurodar.

I really liked this book. I was on the edge of my seat the whole book, I had no idea what would happen until the last chapter. If you enjoy suspense, like me, you would love this book. It's full of action and suspense. Violence is PG-13 because there are a lot of battles that are really descriptive. Most like what you would see in Lord of the Rings.

MS- ESSENTIAL.  Student Reviewer:  JM (7th grade)
