Rogue by Mark Frost - ADVISABLE

Frost, Mark  Rogue(Paladin Prophecy, #3), 358 pgs.  Random House, 2015.  $17.99

Content: Language: PG-13 (36 swears); Mature Content: PG; Violence: PG-13.

Will has convinced his grandfather, Franklin, that he is on Franklin’s side and that they should open a dimension in the world that would bring in creatures from the Netherworld.  Will spends months bonding with his crazy grandfather so that he can get the information and the cleaver he needs to access the other side.  Will and his friends join forces with their teacher Jerico and go on a search throughout the Netherworld looking for the original Hierarchy so they can right the worlds.

This book is full of action, lots and lots of action and fighting monsters.  Will and his friends are funny and have great dialogue, but at times the story line gets lost in all the adventure.  Although this is the end to the trilogy, it feels like there should have been more resolve between the worlds.  I love the audio book reader and I think boys will like this series.  If you have the first two books in the series, then this is a must as well.

MS-ADVISABLE.  HS-OPTIONAL.
