Evil Twins (Case Files 13 Book #3) by J. Scott Savage –ADVISABLE

Savage, J. Scott Evil Twins (Case Files 13 Book #3) 272 pgs, HarperCollins 2014. $14.99  Content: Language: G (0 swears); Mature Content: G Violence: G
In this third book of a series, the boys; Carter, Nick, and Angelo are going camping! When they discover a little creature in the woods, one that can shape shift into Carter and even repeat his sentences, they are pretty sure they can identify it, being monster experts after all. But when Carter sneaks it home, its gets out. Suddenly people they have know n for years are acting very strange, and the boys discover that the little creature was a guardian. And what they let out by taking the guardians out of the woods won’t stop until it takes over the lives of everyone they know.
Another fun read! I would add this series to my library in an instant. It would be rated as essential except I still don’t think the author is doing enough with developing the world. For example, Carter, is still just know for eating, Angelo for his brains, nothing else. I do like the mysterious librarian character, who assists the boys on their adventures. (I hate the evil librarian thing in many stories!!!). Student will be drawn to the spooky covers and love the face paced adventures.
