Tyson is finally old enough to go hunting with Gramps. His father promised that when Tyson was 13, he would be old enough to go elk hunting in the Tetons.  But this year is not turning out very well.  Tyson and his best friend are not getting along, Gramps is 2 hours away in a rest home in Rock Springs, and there is a dangerous grizzly bear terrorizing hunters right where they plan to go. 

A nice boy adventure novel; light on the quantity of adventure, but once you finally get there it’s exciting. The description of the hunt is pretty graphic.  Not for the weak stomached reader.
