Cocoa is a chocolate fairy who wants to do her part to
participate in the talent show that is going to be performed for the King and
Queen. Her friends try to involve her in their various ideas, but Cocoa just
isn’t doing great at dancing or singing. She feels like she might not have a
talent. When there is a disaster in the planning for the show, Cocoa might just
have the talent to help.
This book features a great message about never giving up and
having a great attitude. But alas, the sweet sweet cavity inducing parade of
candy, sweets, and chocolate, its infused in every single word, gesture,
clothing, and place. This could be used as a book for those trying to get to
cut down on sweets, I may never eat another. I vow, here, with kissthebook as
my witness, to never read another book in this series. I still think the
students may enjoy them, but they won’t be in my library. (Just and FYI I prefer the Nevergirls series, still have fairies, but not so sweet that you must make an appointment with your dentist after).
