May, Robert L. Rudolph
the Red-Nosed Reindeer Illustrated by
Antonio Javier Caparo Little Simon,
2014. PICTURE BOOK $17.99
Content: G.
This is the original
telling of a deer who was made fun of by his friends for having a bright red,
shiny nose. Santa was having a particularly
difficult time in the fog and came upon Rudolph and asked him for help so he
could find his way to deliver the presents to the boys and girls. Rudolph was famous for helping Santa, and
Santa still uses him whenever it gets foggy.
The illustrations are fantastic in this magical book—I especially loved
Santa. The only weirdness is that
Rudolph is illustrated sleeping in a house-all tucked into bed, but whatever. The fun rhyming story and the great pictures
make this a fun addition to any Christmas collection.
