In this early reader, Benny has lost his favorite pirate hat. That
put him in a bad mood. He and Penny go looking for it and have some adventures
and some arguments but his mood only gets worse. Then the pair realize they are
lost and remember some great advice from their mom!
This reminds me of old fashioned comics and this series
functions as a really cute early reader introduction to graphic novels. The
stories are sweet and very present an authentic brother/sister friendship. The artwork
is adorable, though sometimes I wish I could turn up the light on the
illustrations, as they can be a bit gloomy. A fun addition to your school
library.
