The girls of the Critter club decides to cheer up the animals at the vet clinic by making them little Christmas toys. When they find out that two adorable guinea pigs that have been getting treated there no longer have a home, they decide to host a Christmas party to find them one.
This series is growing on me. Its just a step up from early readers, and is an appealing read with it focus on pets. With its adorable covers, this series would be selected often by students. The vocabulary is easy to understand, and the short chapter format is a great transition to harder reads. There is always a focus on problem solving and I like how much kindness is featured.
