This level 1 reader features a little horse whose bike is taken by Pablo the bull. When the bike breaks, its up to Little Big Horse to forgive Pablo, fix the bike, and get them both back to biking.
This book starts off on the wrong foot for me, as the horse character can’t wait for school to end. I really don’t want to introduce the concept that school isn’t fun to younger grades, because they still really like school. The story itself is pretty cute, with a simple message about friendship and forgiveness with a great attitude. The artwork is completely unappealing, especially the cover.
