Batman has to fight off Bane in his own batcave. The battle is even more intense because the batcave is full of the weapons used by opponents that Batman has conquered. Bane makes full use of these weapons, and just when things look hopeless –Robin comes to the rescue.
This is actually a quite complex story for such a little book with lots of higher level vocabulary. I think that students will still love it, just because it's Batman and understand what's happening more by the illustrations than the text. The action is fast paced and the illustrations are varied and interesting.
