This early reader level 2 features short readable two page spreads about a variety of animals that the author considers Ugly Cute. There are some interesting facts in easy to read and understand vocabulary. The images are bright colorful and well chosen.
Mostly the animals chosen are actually just plain cute, with a few exceptions. I think students will love this book, just be sure to purchase it in hardbound, because it will get a ton of checkouts.
