It’s almost time for lunch in the
swamp. Watch as different creatures hunt down their next meal, but watch out
for the alligator. A simple, but effective introduction for young children to
the food chain. The pictures are bright and eye-catching. The text is simple,
but informative. At the end, the endnote covers a basic introduction and gives
the reader more information in a quick and to the point. A good first
informational picture book for teacher/parents to read aloud or for beginning
