The little tree is not a tall, nor green, nor leafy as
the other Christmas trees, but the hope in its heart to be someone’s tree is
bigger than all the rest. As the days to Christmas dwindle away, its hope
for a home never wavers, until it is the final tree left. Krensky does
such a skillful job of personifying the little tree that I was ready to cry as
it looked like no one wanted it and that it would be left as garbage. Not
giving anything away here. I need this book for myself!
