Jules and Sawyer have both had visions that
were premonitions where people were harmed in books one and two of the Wake
series. When Jules and Sawyer intervened
they saved many lives, so they take it upon themselves to help the last person
they saved that is now having a vision about a horrible disaster at sea. Jules brother Trey, Trey’s boyfriend Ben, and
Jules’ sister Rowan all act as a problem solving team to figure out where the
vision takes place so they can help the people.
This is a fun series with a new and creative idea. The dialogue between the characters is funny and quick. I have enjoyed all
three books and feel like this was a satisfying ending to the trilogy. My biggest complaint is about the
inappropriate content because otherwise it would be such an easy series to get
kids hooked on. The mature content was
the main characters making out to the point where they might as well have been
having sex and the language makes it hard to recommend-not only swearing but a few crass comments as well.
