Flat Stanley: Show-and-Tell Flat Stanley! Illustrated by Macky Pamintuan EARLY READER
$16.99 Content: G.
Flat Stanley’s brother Arthur wants to take
Stanley to school as his show-and-tell.
Arthur says it’s so he can show everyone how Stanley can wiggle his
ears, but Stanley is pretty sure it is so Arthur can show everyone that he is
flat. When they get to show-and-tell
things get quickly out of hand, making it so Arthur’s teacher’s engagement ring
is around the neck of a mouse who got scared and went up into the ceiling
tiles. Stanley uses his flatness to go
and get the mouse and everything is okay in the end.
This early reader has 4-5 sentences per page and
the illustrations are bright. The quirky
story moves along quickly enough that it entertains young readers.
