There are a lot of dangers that face birds around the world, but now you can create your very own fictional bird using this catalog picture book.

This is by far the most unusual picture book I’ve ever read. A unique concept, but not very easy for the reader to follow. The illustrations are amazing and the first page helps a little for the reader to get into the book, but there’s not really enough text to fully grasp what the author’s trying to convey to the reader. Is it information mixed into a picture book? Hard to say, but in general, I wouldn’t recommend this for the average reader or as a read aloud. NO. EL.
