A multicultural gathering for Sunday dinner is the setting for this funny and well illustrated book. Auntie Mabel blesses the dinner and takes so long that it gets cold. The rhyming text gives the book a sing-song read. The story is not extremely engaging, but the pictures are so well drawn that it makes up for any other short comings.
