The Romeo and Juliet Code by Phoebe Stone

Stone, Phoebe The Romeo and Juliet Code, pgs. 295 Arthur A. Levine, 2011. $16.99. Language-G; Sexual Content-G; Violence-PG; Felicity Budwig doesn't know why she has to come live in America with her fathers family. She just wants to stay with her mom and dad in London, but it is not safe for her with the German bombings. When there is so many secrets in her new home, Flissy wants the answers. Will Derek help her figure out the Romeo and Juliet code? I liked this book, but thought that it needed a dramatic part, something to give the story a dramatic pause. The author could have given a little more detail at the end. It just dropped off. I liked, not loved. EL-MS- OPTIONAL. Student Reviewer: K.B.
