Once old enough, Mary is sent away to work, tearing her from her beloved siblings. She is appreciated as a hard-worker and is always upbeat in her new home as a maid. All this changes, though, when she meets Caden Tucker. I did NOT like thins book at all. Mary is a stupid and naive child and I can't stand her. i didn't appreciate the sexual content or the unnecessary swearing (by a six year old) either. HS - NO. Reviewer: CCH
