Battle of Nashville by Bensn Bobrick
Bobrick, Benson, Battle of Nashville, Random House Books, 2010. INFORMATION.
Battle of Nashville was a two-day battle that was key pivot point in the Civil War. Some of the best known historical military strategies were used in this battle. There were, however, a lot of things that went on behind the scenes and affected greatly both sides of the war. This book captures those moments and more.
An excellent, objective compilation of the events of the Battle of Nashville. The illustrations and photos are excellent. The text and photos complement each other well. The information is well-researched. Readers who like Civil War books and/or need a book for a history report will enjoy reading this book. MS. OPTIONAL. Reviewer: Kira M, Youth Services Librarian, WHI Public Library.
