Waters, Kate Curious
about the White House PICTURE BOOK Grosset
and Dunlap, 2016 (Penguin). $3.99
Content: G.
This book describes
how the White House came to be, who first lived there and its location. It describes how the White House is an office
for the President, a home, a museum and stage for our nation. It also tells interesting facts about the
building and the previous presidents who have stayed in it.
The Smithsonian writes great little
non-fiction books-this is no exception.
There are lots of pictures and the when I was done I felt like I had
been on a tour through the White House.
The text is 3-5 sentences per page and it is easy to read.
