book is full of sports playing animals.
Each page spread shows a different animal playing a different sport and
has 1-2 homonym pairs in all capital letters.
The sentences are silly and the cute illustrations add to the fun. One example from the book is, “Every golf
CLUB at the golf CLUB is too big for the poor little hamster.”
This is a fun way to teach young kids about
homonyms. Although there isn’t a story
line, the bright colors and cute facial expressions of the animals make it
interesting page by page. This is great
for those English teacher looking for a creative way to teach homonyms.
