There was an old giant who swallowed a clock. Then he swallows knitting to muffle the clock and the list goes on. It is a fun spin off of There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly.

I thought this was a creative rendition of There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly. I also loved that there is a cut out of the giants stomach so when you flip the pages more of his stomach is revealed as you see what he swallows next. The ending was unexpected but fits with the silliness of the story.
