Andy and Terry continue to build more levels to their
already amazing treehouse in this whacky and over-the-top story. Andy and Terry decide their story should be
made into a movie and get a big shot Hollywood director named Mr. Big
Shot. Terry is set to be a big time
movie star, while Andy is cut out of the movie and due to some mishaps, is
actually tossed out of the treehouse. As
Andy tries to determine if Terry is still his friend, there is Jill and her
intergalactic space-animal rescue service, and some sneaky spy cows added to
the mix.
If you haven’t read any of the previous books, no
worries. This one stands alone. Hold on
for a wild and wacky ride. If the
cartoon characters Phineas and Ferb had a treehouse, this would be it. The story should appeal to young or reluctant readers, and it is a balanced mix of story and pictures. However, if you’re looking for a cohesive plot that makes sense, you may have to dig deeper. This is more of a throw-it-all-in-the blender and see how it comes out approach.
