Princess Truly is smart, confident and adventurous, leading the reader in all
the things she is and can do—from climbing trees to sailing boats, to being an
engineer and so much more.
I liked the positive message of this book and that
it was free of gendered stereotypes. Since as a society we are focused on
telling little girls how cute they are, I could see reading this book as a
daily affirmation to young girls to build their self-esteem without mentioning
their looks or what they are wearing, but focusing on what they can achieve.
