This is the true story of Olympic medal winner gymnast Kerri
Strung. It spans from her early childhood, where her love of gymnastics
started, to her teen years where the dreams were fulfilled. Includes many
illustrations and a few images.
This is a fantastic book with themes of hard work, sacrifice,
and perseverance. It couldn’t function as a full biography since it ends in her
teen years, but gymnastic fans would love to read this. I don’t have a ton of
requests for gymnastic books, but if this is a popular sport at your school or
you have an athlete biography collection, pick this one up.
