Driscoll, Amanda Wally Does Not Want a Haircut.
PICTURE BOOK. Alfred A. Knopf Publishing, 2016 $17.99.
Wally the sheep
will do anything to get out of getting a haircut. Even after all of his
animal friends join in and show him that haircuts can be fun, Wally still
refuses to cut his curly locks. But while hiding away in the hay avoiding
the shears, Wally gets stuck. His unruly hair will not let him loose and Wally
is forced to cut his hair in order to get free. Once the pesky curls are
gone, Wally realizes haircuts aren't half bad and he can do all his favorite
things again.
This cute story of Wally the sheep is a fun read for younger
ages. With darling illustrations and lots of animal friends to share in
Wally's predicament kids will love this story.
