Garvie Smith is a really bright kid with a super high IQ. He
also has the lowest scores ever recorded at his school. Nothing can get him to
be excited about anything until Chloe Dow is found murdered in the pond. Garvie
tries to work with inspector Singh who is doing everything “by the book.”
Garvie does some illegal things, like using drugs. He also
refuses any advice and help from his mother and others. I found this book slow
moving and had a hard time finishing it.
