Since her little sister’s death in a car crash she feels
responsible for, Emma has not been able to find peace. She decides to join a wilderness group for a
two week adventure in the backcountry, hoping to distract herself and possibly find
clarity. Due to tragic circumstances,
only four members of the group are left alive to either wait for rescue or find
their way out to safety.
Think either Hatchet (Paulsen) or Downriver (Hobbs), but
written with a lot more swearing and mature content. This is definitely appeal to those particular
readers but at an older level.
