This large book tells the story of a prehistoric turtle as it grows up, facing all the dangers a prehistoric creature must face.
It is full of stunning illustrations and the story is told as wonderful rhyme with a lyrical flow. I loved this book! Although set in the distant past, there is continuity to the story because sea turtles still exist and live by similar patterns today. Students will love this and best of all, it is large and simple enough to include for a great story time presentation.
