Fisher, Catherine The Lost Heiress, 362 p. Dial (Penguin), 2011.
Content: G.
Raffi and Galen know that there is an heir to the throne of the old kingdom of Tasceron. Not only do they need to find the heir before the Watch does, they are being pursued by an determined hunter and will only find refuge if they can uncover the legendary Sarres, a protected safe place of the Relic Masters. The little group is always barely ahead of all of their enemies, and danger comes in more than one guise.
Fisher’s concept is brilliant – she has written enough book, aimed perfectly at a upper elementary/middle school audience, but supplied the entire thing, released in one month increments. This way her audience is fresh and excited and the entire series will be out just in time for back to school or Christmas purchasing.
