When Sam notices that his jelly doughnut is jamless, he sets a trap to find the culprit. His trap nets him 2 baby Jampires who take him on an adventure back to Jampire Land. Sam is greeted as a hero and rewarded with doughnuts which they bring to his house now, everyday.
The illustrations are fun. There is a lot to look at, like Candyland meets Dr. Seuss. The story, however, told in rhyme is strange, some of the verse is forced. Good idea, but didn’t really come together very well.
