This is not a poetry collection meant for children. It is a poetry collection meant for hipster parents or as an intellectual exercise. They will find the variety of God’s actions and the male/female God perspectives amusing. The subjects of the free verse structures (again – like the majority of modern free verse, this lacks ANYTHING remotely poetic except for form) are jobs and attitudes that only adults will understand. It will be a conversation starter on a coffee table or in a small book collection at home.
